We had a good Father's Day here in the Mortensen household. I made Landon breakfast in bed, and Jonathan sang with the primary again. He absolutely loves doing that. After dinner we had a super-dee-duper chocolate cake with cherry filling. It was divine. Stay tuned tomorrow for a TWD post about it.
Below you can see Landon's new Father's Day gift. Conveniently we started retiling our bathroom floor this past weekend. A power drill is a must for such a project, and the drill we had just wasn't powerful enough.
I like this picture because it's the quintessential father & sons picture. The boys LOVE to help their Dad with the projects he's been doing around the house. Here they are putting the railing back up after we painted the wall. What a great Dad we have!
Of course I must mention my Dad as well as Landon's. Two very different people, but both great dads! They are both always there with their wisdom, advice and any help that we might need. They are great examples of how to live the gospel. How lucky we are to have great dads and grandpas for our kids!
