There was much to be thankful for in 2012! Landon became an Associate, we made some large improvements to our home: shutters and a paver porch. We were spared litigation (that's a story for another post) and we were blessed with health and happiness.
This was the best, most flavorful and moist turkey I have ever eaten! It is definitely a keeper.
As usual, we had sweet potato pie with apples sautéed in brown sugar and butter. This year I topped it with candied nuts from Costco.
This was a brussels-sprout recipe that I tried out. It wasn't a big hit.
This was a complex and flavor-rich cranberry sauce. I loved it, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra work and ingredients.
Below was the best pumpkin pie ever! Notice there isn't a crack down the middle? That's right...all a part of my secret recipe. :)
