Canada

In May, Landon and I took a trip to Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.  Landon recently made associate actuary and his work was sending him to a conference there to officially recognize him for receiving his credentials.  Our friends, Dean and Amanda went to as Dean was also being recognized. Travelling with them made the trip extra fun

We decided to take a limo to our hotel since, after splitting the cost with our friends, it wasn't much more than a taxi.  It was so much fun and MUCH better than a taxi ride!

The first evening there, we walked along the boardwalk past the Canada Place.

The Olympic Cauldron

We had some AMAZING Belgium chocolates.

No trip to Canada is complete with out a trip to Tim Hortons for a doughnut.

The next day, we decided to go to Victoria Island to see The Butchart Gardens.  It was so worth the trip!  The gardens are beautiful!

Two tickets to Earth anyone?

The next day we started out by visiting the Medina Cafe for breakfast.  There was a fairly long line outside when we got there.  The food was delicious.  It was totally worth the wait.

Have you ever seen such a perfect cup of cocoa?

The waffles had unique syrup options such as lavender chocolate and salted caramel.

Don't these dishes just look fancy?

Afterwards we walked through Chinatown.  There we did some really fun shopping.

Below is the narrowest building in the world.

We stopped to see the Chinatown City Garden.

We walked past this place.  Check out some of the flavors...

To be continued...
