I have been wanting to make one of Dorie's ice cream recipe's for a long time. So when this one came up, I was very excited. I've had the ingredients ready to go for a couple of weeks now. There is only one small problem--I don't have an ice cream maker. I looked at Vogelweh and Ramstein, but neither of them currently have one (big surprise). So, at the last minute, I decided I'm going to find out how to do without an ice cream maker. I found a way, but it won't be done until tomorrow since it takes several hours and it's already late into the evening.

Well, it worked without a machine! It was easy too. All you have to do is put it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes, take it out and stir. Then repeat the process two more times. All in all I like the ice cream. It wasn't my favorite flavor, but I did like it.
