SIX!

Originally we were planning a Star Wars party at our house, but as soon as I said to Landon that maybe we should do it at Chuck E.'s, the decision was made.  Jonathan excitedly told everyone he knew that he was having a party there.  How could I tell him otherwise?  Besides, that meant no cleaning up after the party for me.  :)

Erik, Jonathan, and Adria (Jonathan's girlfriend) after school the day he turned 6.

This boy loves Legos!

And guns too.

Ah, Chuck E.'s.  It's a mix of Hollywood and Vegas for kids!

About Jonathan:

43 lbs
__" tall
Rarely gets sick.
Can operate on very little sleep.
Is very social.
Is learning to play the violin and piano (at his request).
Is not shy about performing.  In fact, if you were to come to our house, he would likely pull out his violin and play for you.  (Ha!  He's playing for his friends right now.)
Loves to build things, and create his own spaces (he's created a "lab" complete with a toy computer.
Favorite color is still blue.
Is great with babies (Erik and now Ella)
Loves tortellini with pesto (that's what we had for his b-day dinner).
Is obsessed with Chinese and writing the characters.  As of last parent-teacher conference, he was still writing "Chinese." He has gone so far as to sell his Chinese writing (which he copied from something I printed out for him on the Internet) to the next-door neighbor girl. Yes, he can write in English--he just doesn't prefer to.  We had to have a talk about not writing in Chinese at school.
Loves school and his teacher.
Best friend at school: Ben W.
Best friends at home: the three neighbor kids: Alden, Lorenza and Brycen W.
Girlfriend: Adria C.
